I liked Ch 1.
Biblical interlude was a weaker part of the story as it poured a lot of information on you without grounding it in the characters established so strongly in Ch 1.
Ch 3 establishes the supernatural premise of the series in a more comfortable way than the interlude method in my view.
I was going sorta serious again, realizing the implications of papa deer deer, and then I hit panel 3 and it’s 2 AM and thin walls where I live and I’m choking trying to keep from waking my neighbors up. It’s like muting one of those giggle-a-thons in class in middle school that only got worse the more you tried.
Okay…HBLURF was just hilarious.
Well duh, I wouldn’t be able to wait on such a story myself.
poor poor eli things are just getting weirder for him lol
Finally, an update!
Though his condition worries me…

Agreed. HBLURF is going on my top ten list of Onomatopoeias.
